This tenant improvement shows the successful transformation of a rugged Chinese Bistro into a lifelike tropical oasis. The space is now filled with bamboo wall panels set on woven covered half walls that incorporate authentic Caribbean flair with traditional artwork decorations. On top of the wall panels is a dried grass double canopy roof, much like the thatched roofing used in bungalow huts.
This ground up consists of a 2,942 square foot Strings Restaurant with a full kitchen and bar. The structure is wood framed with stucco exterior and light gauge metal interior framing. Interior finishes include ceramic tile and stained concrete floors with open ceilings and exposed ducting. The counter tops are polished granite.
