OakVet Animal Specialty Hospital is a 10,742 SF Multi-Specialty and 24 hr Emergency Hospital located in Oakland, CA. The Wells team assisted Dr. Haburjak and Dr. Grange along with the design team/consultants throughout the preconstruction phases and throughout construction. This new state of the art facility is equipped with 12 exam rooms, a large treatment area, three surgery suites, cardiology, radiology, oncology, dermatology, dental, endoscopy, CT scanner suite, separate dog and cat wards, an outdoor area, modern/urban finishes throughout with custom/local artwork, and new elevator to access the second story for future expansion. OakVet is first 24/7 specialty veterinary hospital in Oakland.

Johnson Ranch Veterinary Clinic and Rehabilitation Center is a 3,800 sq ft facility that contains an outdoor dog exercise yard, large rehab center with specialized flooring for optimal joint support, surgery suite and three exam rooms.

This tenant improvement is a warm shell interior build out and the site improvements include an outdoor exercise yard with a shade structure, landscape and irrigation system.

This project consisted of a 8,957 sf tenant improvement equipped with eight spacious exam rooms, retail area, surgery, ortho, x-ray, and an ultra sound room. Other hospital amenities include: Dog and cat boarding, a dog exercise area and full wash and grooming stations.

Wells Construction completed a 1,397 sf tenant improvement for Marqueen Animal Hospital, an emergency pet care facility. Dr. Queen’s new facility includes 3 exam rooms, an isolation and surgery area, and an x-ray room. This unique animal hospital offers 24hr overnight veterinary care.
